Index Guideline Update | TEQ - General Artificial Intelligence Index

NaroIX GmbH, as administrator of the indices, announces the publication of Version 1.3 of the Index Guideline for the TEQ - General Artificial Intelligence Index.

• Date of publication: 15 October 2026
• Effective date: With immediate effect. Version 1.3 also applies to the selection of October 2026 (Selection Day: 9 October 2026; Rebalancing Day: 23 October 2026).

Summary of Updates:

1. Eligible Exchanges and security line selection (Sections 2, 3.1, 4.1.4, 4.2): An exchange is eligible for this Index only if securities can be traded on it without operational restrictions for international institutional investors, in particular without segregated accounts at end-investor level (see Section 5 of the NaroIX Eligible Exchanges Policy, Version 1.1). Each company is represented by its most liquid eligible listing. Companies in markets such as Mainland China, Taiwan or South Korea can therefore be included only via a listing on an Eligible Exchange (e.g. Hong Kong) or a Depositary Receipt.
2. Eligible industries (Section 4.1.1): “Specialty Telecommunications” was added to the eligible FactSet industries, which extends the Index Universe.
